Digital pyrometer with combination option of single channel and ratio mode from LumaSense

The IGAR 6 Advanced is a digital, compact and fast pyrometer, which can be operated in different modes depending on the requirements and covers a very wide measuring range between 100 and 2000 °C.

"In addition to the single-channel mode (100 - 2000 °C), the IGAR 6 can optionally be operated in quotient mode (250 - 2000 °C) or in a special smart mode.
In this, the measurement from 100 to 250 °C is carried out in single-channel mode, while in the temperature range between 280 - 2000 °C the measurement is carried out in dual-channel mode (i.e. in quotient mode). In the range 250 to 280 °C, a continuous transition from single-channel to dual-channel measurement takes place automatically."

The long measuring range, combined with compact dimensions and the new smart mode predestine the IGAR 6 Advanced Pyrometer as the ideal measuring solution for many different applications in industrial manufacturing". Application areas for this include, for example, processes in the metal / steel industry such as induction heating, hardening, tempering / annealing, brazing, sintering, vacuum processes, coating and laser heat treatment.

Special features of this pyrometer are the long temperature measuring range, the special smart mode and other important aspects such as automatic emission determination and optional line optics.
All these additional features make the instrument unique and create multiple possibilities for accurate measurement of process temperatures.

The Model IGAR 6 complements the 6 Advanced product series of compact, digital and rugged pyrometers and uses high accuracy infrared technology to accurately determine the temperature of a surface. Like other pyrometers of the 6 series, the IGAR 6 Advanced also has a variety of options for alignment to the relevant measurement objects, such as through-the-lens sighting, laser pilot light and TV module. For data communication it can be connected to a PC via RS485 to USB port.
