Laser sensors LAH-G1 - Optical distance sensors with measured value display
2017-08-15 06:57:11, WayCon Positionsmesstechnik GmbHThe LAH-G1 differs from commercially available laser sensors in this class thanks to its all-in-one concept. This integrates the control unit and the measured value display directly in the sensor head. There are four types, which differ in the measuring ranges 30 ± 4 mm, 50 ± 10 mm, 85 ± 20 mm and 120 ± 60 mm. The visible red-light semiconductor laser of laser class 2 enables the laser sensor to be aligned with pinpoint accuracy to determine the distance to the measurement object. The LAH-G1 is particularly lightweight and is suitable for mounting on moving elements due to its compact design, as well as its glass-fiber reinforced plastic housing with IP67 protection.
In addition to the voltage output signal (0...10 V) and the current output signal (4...20 mA), the analog laser sensor LAH-G1 has additional functions such as: Timing, triggering, remote interlock, laser control, limit and zero point setting, and offset adjustment. The configuration is done via the intuitive control element of the sensor, directly on the device.
The application areas of the LAH-G1 series cover all known areas of dimensional control (thickness, length, diameter, etc.). Its properties predestine it for use in production metrology in electronics, printed circuit boards, the automotive industry (e.g. tire production, metallic surfaces), and the detection of profiles or contours, among other applications.
