The ISOTEST® Brush Porosity Detector is a high-pressure device for the non-destructive inspection of coatings down to the smallest pinhole. It is equipped with advanced high-pressure technology, making it an indispensable aid in passive corrosion protection. This device enables non-destructive high-pressure testing of non-conductive coatings and coverings. Routine visual inspections may easily miss holes, cracks or other damage that can be easily detected by high-pressure pulses.
Product Benefits
Efficient and reliable hole testing: using the latest technology and appropriate accessories for any application.
Testing of wet, dirty and even slightly conductive surfaces

Application Scenarios
Pipeline Coating Pickup Testing
For decades, the world's leading pipeline operators have relied on ELMED's ISOTEST® brush-type pore inspection equipment. Even the smallest cracks, flaws and defects can be detected and indicated during the pore inspection process. The special test technology of the ISOTEST® brush-type pore detector uses pulsed high voltage, which permits reliable inspection of pipe diameters up to DN 1600 in a single operation. Thanks to the capacitive earthing method (phantom earthing) in combination with the pulsed high voltage, safe earthing can be carried out without direct contact with the "bare" pipe end. Even wet pipes can be safely and non-destructively tested for defects and flaws with the ISOTEST® Holiday Detector.
