Final phase SIL CL2/PLd certification

Due to legal regulations, more and more applications /machines have to fulfill this safety level according to IEC/EN 61508. Therefore, we decided some time ago to develop a new series of CANopen - sensors that meet the requirements for SIL CL2 / Pld. These redundant sensors for all safety critical components are based on MEMS- technology and communicate via CANopen - Safety - Protocol EN50325-5 (CiA304)
In a short time we can deliver the following certified sensor types:
- 1 - axis 360° tilt sensor
- 2 - axis + 30° / + 90° tilt sensor
- 3 - axis + 2g / +4g / + 8g accelerometer
All models are available with standard QG65 (reinforced plastic) or stainless steel QG 76 housing.
Technical data:
- Protection class IP67 for QG65 or up to IP68 for QG76
- Temperature range -40°C - +85°C
- Accuracy of inclination up to 0.09° with a resolution of 0.05°
- Accuracy of acceleration up to 0.08g with a resolution of 0.005g
