The new SLIM safety light curtain

The new SLIM safety light curtain is a simple and flexible safeguarding solution for numerous automatic and semi-automatic machines. To protect their operators, equipment for assembly, packaging, filling, sorting, inspection, measurement, material handling and many other applications require safety light curtains. SLIM safety light curtains are designed in such a way that they can be optimally integrated into existing machine structures, especially when a space-saving solution is required with small distances to the danger zone and frequent operator intervention.

"The SLIM series gives machine designers and operators flexibility and protection in an ultra-slim form factor" said Cosimo Capuzzello, general manager of Datalogic's Sensors & Safety business unit. The SLIM series offers extensive equipment. Three resolutions, 14mm, 24mm and 34mm are available. Various mounting options simplify fitting into most installations. All models are cascadable to up to three units. 34 protective field heights from 150 mm to 1200 mm offer a comprehensive selection and allow configuration for almost any size. The unique design offers high length modularity without dead zones.
