Force measurement in material ropeways

To ensure that this happens smoothly in both summer and winter, the tension in the often kilometer-long suspension cables is measured. Because depending on the ambient temperature, this can vary. Optionally, rope cranes can also be used for material ropeways. With these, the operator is able to pick up and transport heavy and bulky loads without additional equipment. These cable cranes are also equipped with force measurement. Thus, a simple and reliable control of the attached payload takes place and an overload of the system is detected.
