Galvanically isolated sensor/actuator stroke

The galvanically isolated IO-Link sensor/actuator hub offers you the possibility to connect both sensors and actuators to one module and to be able to safely switch off the actuator segment. Up to eight digital inputs and outputs can be used. IO-Link and status LEDs also support simple diagnostics.

The all-in-one solution offers you the possibility to connect both sensors and actuators to one module. At the same time, you can safely switch off the actuator segment via its separately switchable safety circuit. This is because the IO-Link I/O hub of type BNI IOL-355... is divided into two electrically isolated segments.


To safely switch off the supply voltage of the actuator segment, you need an external safety device. Then the module can be used to implement safety functions up to SIL2 in accordance with EN62061.

You can operate up to eight digital inputs and outputs with the module. If the IO-Link connection is interrupted, the outputs assume predefined states. These states remain until the IO-Link connection is restored.
