Industrial 1-channel measuring amplifier ClipX

Measurement technology specialist HBM (Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnik) presents its new industrial measurement amplifier: ClipX - "Clip. Measure. Control." With an accuracy class of 0.01 and integrated digital factory calibration certificate, ClipX sets new standards in measurement technology. Whether for single-channel or multi-channel applications in production monitoring, process monitoring or quality assurance, the module adapts to any measurement task.

With ClipX, any number of individual, autonomously operating measuring chains or even measuring systems with up to 6 devices communicating with each other can be easily implemented. The measuring amplifier has all modern automation interfaces to integrate the device ideally into digital overall control concepts (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP™, EtherCAT®, current as well as voltage output).
ClipX already meets the requirements of tomorrow's networked production today. A special feature is the intuitive web interface, which allows operation, parameterization or diagnostics also via remote access. ClipX continuously monitors itself so that machine failures can be avoided through early fault detection (predictive maintenance). This is made possible by so-called smart functions such as health monitoring, remote diagnosis and billing channels. ClipX can form both analog and digital measurement chains. HBM's sensors are optimally matched to the ClipX amplifier and deliver interference-free measurement results.
