Laser sensor LAR - small, compact, insensitive

WayCon Positionsmesstechnik offers with the new generation of LAR laser triangulation sensors small, compact sensors for different applications. The optical sensors are extremely insensitive to various surfaces and are suitable, among other things, for the measurement of concentricity/alignment, thickness measurement and position detection.

The distance sensors are available for measuring ranges from 10 to 400 mm and also enable point measurements thanks to a minimal measuring spot of 50 µm. The integrated display and the good/bad evaluation as well as the individual parameterization via teach-in facilitate the handling of the sensors. An analog output and a configurable external input additionally increase the functionality. The LAR sensors have an IP67 protection class and are suitable for an operating temperature range of -10 °C to 45 °C.

Fields of application of the LAR laser triangulation sensors are, for example, the quality control of microprocessors, the monitoring of the path of robot arms or the measurement of the exact position of strip material.
