ME900 – Ceramic Gauge Pressure Sensor for Easy Screw Mounting
2026-01-21 08:33:09, AMSYS GmbH & Co KGAMSYS, based in Mainz, offers the ME900 as a ceramic sensing element with an outer diameter of 9 mm, permanently mounted in a stainless steel (AISI 316) housing with a 1/8-Gas (UNI338) thread. The sensors are thermally compensated and calibrated, delivering an accuracy of up to 1% at 25 °C and 1.4% in the range from 0 °C to 85 °C. The operating temperature range spans from -20 °C to 85 °C. ME900 gauge pressure sensors are standalone devices and require no additional circuitry.
The ME900 gauge pressure sensor is available for pressure ranges of 10 bar, 20 bar, 50 bar, and 100 bar. With a 5V supply voltage, current consumption remains below 6 mA. The pressure is output as a ratiometric signal via a 3-pin JST connector. The integrated ASIC enables calibration and temperature compensation during manufacturing. Additionally, it monitors the aging process and allows for traceability of the sensors through a stored batch number.
AMSYS recommends the new ceramic sensors for applications involving (contaminated) water or aggressive media, such as in (waste)water technology, medical technology, and of course, hydraulic systems.
