Miniature force washer PACline for all standadrd screw sizes up to M14

The PACEline CLP series of miniature piezoelectric force washers from HBM Test and Measurement (HBM) is now available in three new nominal forces. This means that they can be installed immediately in existing structures using all standard industrial screw connections from M2.5 to M14. Typical applications are production monitoring (e.g. force monitoring of crimping processes, welding force monitoring) and dynamic measurements in testing.

With the introduction of the three new variants with nominal forces of 3 kN, 14 kN and 36 kN, HBM completes the PACEline CLP series of piezoelectric force washers. This expansion of the product range means that the sensors are now available to the user for all standard industrial screw connections from M2.5 to M14. This means that the tiny force sensor technology can also be installed in very small constructions without having to re-dimension or adapt screw or bolt connections.

In total, force washers from PACEline CLP are available in seven different variants from 3 kN to 80 kN. The overall height is - depending on the measuring range - only 3 to 5 millimeters. All CLP sensors are made of stainless materials and are RoHS compliant. They also feature a particularly low-noise charging cable. All sensors, regardless of the respective nominal force, are available with cable lengths of either 0.5 m or 1 m. Practical accessories are available from stock.

Under the brand name "PACEline", HBM offers a growing range of piezoelectric measurement technology, complementing its main offering of force sensors based on strain gauge technology. Thanks to the large selection, customers can choose the best solution for them technologically and economically, depending on the measurement task.
