Miniature inertial shaker

The inertial shaker model TMS-2002E in combination with the matching mini class-D amplifier model TMS-2000E from The Modal Shop is a very compact solution for vibration excitation in laboratory and mobile applications. Applications for the miniature shaker include noise and vibration testing in automotive development, where active excitation is required at measurement points that are difficult to access.

The shaker generates a sinusoidal force of up to 18 N in the frequency range of 20 ... 3,000 Hz. The maximum stroke that can be achieved is about 9 mm. With dimensions of only 51 x 38 mm and its weight of about 250 grams, the device is suitable for direct mounting on the test structure, even on complex and angled test specimens. This punctual application ensures precise excitation.
