OEM ceramic pressure sensor PHPS-7500 - the perfect choice for demanding environments
2015-10-28 08:07:12, Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power AG The PHPS-7500 is an OEM gas and liquid pressure sensor. Each copy is individually calibrated, temperature compensated and amplified using programmable ASIC circuitry. The overall accuracy of the sensor is typically 0.75% over the entire temperature range of 0° C to 70° C. Equipped with a 5V power supply, a ratiometric output signal from 0.5 VDC to 4.5 VDC, and a digital I2C interface, the PHPS-7500 is ideal for a wide range of applications where the pressure of aggressive gases and all types of liquids need to be measured. The differential pressure sensor also features a minimum measuring range of 0 to 100 mbar and a maximum measuring range of 7 bar.
The PHPS-7500 is a breakthrough ceramic pressure sensor with a patented sensor construction design, made from Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics (LTCC). The pressure sensor element made of LTCC determines the existing pressure by means of piezoresistance. Thanks to LTCC technology, the sensor can be used in a wide variety of aggressive materials, including water, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel and more. As a result, it delivers precise measurement results even in the most demanding environments. The piezo resistors are also specially protected, making the sensor suitable for wet-wet applications.
