Planning aid for water and wastewater technical plants revised

KROHNE has revised its "Planning aid for the preparation of tender texts for water and wastewater management". The free online tool for easy creation of service specifications for process measurement technology now has a new user interface that offers fast and user-friendly navigation.

Planners of water and wastewater engineering plants and systems are faced with the complex task of reconciling constantly changing requirements on the part of the planning department with new technological developments and the resulting possibilities. When it comes to process measurement technology, the planner must not only be familiar with the most important technologies, but also know the advantages and disadvantages of all measurement methods that can be used at a particular measuring point. Given the abundance of different alternatives, many planners find it difficult to decide on a particular measuring device.

Here, KROHNE offers support through the revised planning aid: it includes process technology for measuring points grouped by processes, such as water extraction, water treatment, public wastewater network or sludge treatment. At the same time, the tool offers complete planning reliability, as all the devices included are currently available. Also included are various desalination processes of special interest to planners in international water supply projects.

After selecting a measuring point, tender texts, data sheets, operating instructions and CAD drawings can be quickly created and saved. The tender texts can be downloaded as Word, Excel or GAEB files.
