RHEINTACHO expands

The expansion in Freiburg serves both to build up additional production capacities and to optimize logistical processes.

Directly next to the current company headquarters in Freiburg's Haid industrial park, the opportunity to expand the area presented itself. The family business, which has been in existence for 115 years, did not want to let this unique opportunity pass it by. The additional space will allow the logistical organization to be reorganized and optimally positioned for future requirements in the coming years. It also offers the opportunity to optimally set up internal production and assembly processes for new product lines currently under development, as well as to make the material flow in general future-proof.

After the last expansion in 2009, this is now the next step on a long-term path. And a clear commitment by the owner family to independence and the Freiburg location.

At the same time, planning for a capacity expansion at P+P Technik s.r.o in Chropynĕ, Czech Republic, is nearing completion. RHEINTACHO has been involved in this company for quite some time. P+P Technik s.r.o supplies components for various products of the Freiburg-based measurement technology company. In addition to increasing capacity, the expansion at the Czech plant will also serve to broaden the production spectrum and create spatial capacity for the installation of new production equipment.
