Seminar series for planners and users in process technology

The KROHNE Academy seminar series "Measurement and control technology in practice", jointly organized by PTB, PHOENIX CONTACT, SAMSON, TÜV NORD and KROHNE, will start in March 2015. On four dates in March, May and September, the series will take place in Munich, Darmstadt, Leipzig and Duisburg. The trade medium P&A supports the series as a media partner.

With a focus on industrial measurement technology and actuators, fieldbus communication, decentralized automation and wireless signal transmission, the series is aimed at planners and users in process technology. In addition, the topics of metrological terms and definitions, functional safety (SIL), explosion protection and security will be covered in lectures.

A total of 20 lectures will be held in parallel in four lecture rooms. In Darmstadt, Leipzig and Duisburg, the event will be held with the same content on two consecutive days. Participants will thus have the chance to hear the presentations they were unable to attend due to an overlap on the previous day. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition with exhibits on the lecture topics. The experts at the KROHNE Academy will be happy to answer practical questions and provide advice on specific process applications.
