Smart fitting makes pointer devices retrofit
2019-05-22 04:52:17, JUMO GmbH & Co. KGJUMO dicoTEMP 100 combines the strengths of several JUMO instruments. With the new solution, users can continue to use devices already installed in the process at the same measuring point and at the same time functionally expand them to include electrical temperature measurement.
The combination of a platinum chip temperature sensor with a thermostat or dial thermometer in a fitting significantly reduces the planning and installation effort.
The fitting is made of stainless steel and is available in different types of connections: For screwing in or plugging in on the smooth tube. The installation length varies between 65 and 300 mm depending on customer requirements. The JUMO dicoTEMP 100 can be used at process temperatures between
-40 and +260 °C.
A resistance signal is transmitted via an industry-standard M12 connector. By means of cable transmitters, further output signals can be forwarded analog (4 to 20 mA) or digital (IO-Link), guaranteeing maximum flexibility in data use. Furthermore, a large variability arises from the use of different device types, platinum sensors and sensor as well as immersion sleeve diameters.
Plug and play functionality makes the JUMO dicoTEMP 100 the ideal partner for retrofitting existing systems, such as transformers, compressors, or hydraulic systems.
