Smart Kits for Smart Camera

With the release of the smart camera mvBlueGEMINI and the intuitive mvIMPACT Configuration Studio in short mvIMPACT-CS, the company MATRIX VISION has shown how easy the creation of inspections can be and thus heralded a new era in machine vision. Now the company is following up with suitable kits for laboratory, industry and beginners, which include the Smart Camera, the mvIMPACT-CS and the respective accessories.

The core of the kit is the software and the hardware in the form of the mvIMPACT Configuration Studio and the mvBlueGEMINI. mvIMPACT-CS is web-based, does not need to be installed and can also be accessed simultaneously from different devices such as tablet, smartphone, PC via network or if an access point is available via WLAN. The intuitive user guidance by means of wizards and the reduction to essential parameters support the user and consequently accelerate the application development. Furthermore, tasks can be trained, whereby mvIMPACT-CS selects the correct algorithms and sets the appropriate parameters. Image processing knowledge is not mandatory for this reason. The mvIMPACT-CS is based on HALCON and is optimally adapted to the hardware.

The kits differ in each case in the accessories. While a network cable and a 24 V power supply unit are included in the accessories for the laboratory kit, a suitable connection cable suitable for drag chains with an open cable end replaces the 24 V power supply unit in the industrial kit.

The starter kit includes the largest accessory package: It includes a C-mount lens, 24V power supply, tripod, tripod adapter, matching cables, white ring light, and interface box. The interface box with terminal strips and control LEDs for all digital inputs/outputs allows fast and uncomplicated process integration. The starter kit is supplied in an attractive case and saves the user time-consuming assembly of the individual components.
