Universal and precise measuring amplifier

Regardless of the type of measurand to be acquired, QuantumX MX840B is universally applicable. From mechanical, thermal to electrical and hydraulic measured variables such as force, strain, acceleration, torque, speed, temperature, voltage, current, pressure and flow - the universal measuring amplifier processes any signal and provides a suitable response to almost any measurement and test task. This QuantumX MX840B module underlines its comprehensive character by universal inputs with automatic channel parameterization (TEDS).

The new module also supports current-fed piezoelectric transducers (IEPE/ICP) on each channel. With a measurement rate of 40 kS/s and a signal bandwidth of 7 kHz, it is also suitable for measuring and analyzing electrical vibrations, mechanical vibrations and noise in the time, frequency and angle ranges. Like all other QuantumX modules, the new MX840B can be distributed and time-synchronized up to 100 m using Ethernet and PTP. This moves the measurement technology close to the measuring point and can be easily integrated into networks.

Due to its flexibility, the universal measuring amplifier can be used both mobile and stationary in various applications, e.g. in construction when testing function and operational stability or in performance and efficiency tests of drives.
