UPK ultrasonic sensors - Different housing variants for flexible use

WayCon Positionsmesstechnik GmbH expands the portfolio in the field of ultrasonic sensors with the UPK product series. Their plastic or stainless steel housing ensures protection up to class IP67, has either a plug or cable outlet and can therefore be used flexibly. The sensors are easy and quick to implement and are classically used for level and distance measurement.

Three different product designs measure distances of 40 mm - 300 mm, 60 mm - 800 mm or 80 mm - 1200 mm. The ultrasonic sensors can be used in the temperature range from -20 °C to +70 °C and function with a resolution of 2 mm, regardless of the color or material of the target. The measurement result can be evaluated optionally via a switching or analog output (4...20 mA / 0...10 V). The 4-pole plug output has the common thread size M12, the round and compact housing has the size M18. The scope of delivery includes two matching fastening nuts and two washers in the case of the plastic version.

WayCon's corrosion-resistant sensors are used in the food, pulp, textile, paint or pharmaceutical industries. Other possible areas of application are chemical apparatus engineering and wastewater treatment.
