Water and wastewater sector seminar series with record results - omens for IFAT

The KROHNE Academy seminar series "Safety and efficiency improvement in water supply and wastewater disposal" comes to an end with a record result: 310 participants attended the four dates in February and March 2016; the date in Munich with 109 participants was already fully booked more than a month in advance. Organized by WILO, HAWLE, PHOENIX CONTACT, WAVIN, Videc and KROHNE, it offered users the opportunity to further educate themselves in special technical topics.

The feedback from participants regarding the content was consistently positive, and the choice of venues was also praised. The organizers will comply with the request for more time for discussions and adjust the breaks of the events accordingly.

"Under these circumstances, we are looking forward to IFAT all the more: after the feedback from the seminar series, we will adapt our booth concept and place the topics that are in high demand more in the foreground," explains Michael Rumpf, industry manager for water/wastewater at KROHNE. "In addition to the WATERFLUX large magnetic-inductive water meter, which boasts new functions, we will also be presenting our services with a dedicated area on the stand e.g. with a live demonstration of our planning and design software for engineering companies."
