MST-20332 - F1 Exhaust Gas Thermocouple Type \"K\", NiCr-Ni, KL.1This sensor for measuring exhaust gases was developed together with a Formula 1 team. The goal was to achieve the greatest possible reliability during the race. The probe has been designed to withstand maximum vibration and extreme temperatures, but also has a very compact design. The special feature is the connecting cable. It is not the usual mineral-insulated stainless steel sheathed cable, which is very rigid and prone to vibration fractures. Instead, the cable consists of stranded conductors with PTFE insulation and additional heat protection and can be easily and flexibly adapted to the environment. The sensor is used extremely successfully in professional teams, endurance racing, American racing series and the domestic DTM.
