Gas sensor
Item number: GSEM 637-EX Price on request
Delivery time:Delivery time on request
The GSEM 637 Ex transmitter is used for the detection of sulfur dioxide in Ex zones. Diffusion of the target gas into the interior of the measuring cell causes an electrochemical reaction with the electrolyte. Subsequently, the product oxidizes at the working electrode. After the target gas is removed, the electrolyte regenerates again. If the gas concentration remains high for a long time, the measuring cell can reach saturation, which leads to a drop in the signal.
