The INFRA.sens® was specially developed for high-quality NDIR gas analysis. During the design phase, special emphasis was placed on high stability and low detection limit. With the use of high-performance light-emitting diodes (IR LEDs) and thermal micro-emitters tailored to the needs of gas measurement technology, these goals were fully achieved. In the spectral range from 2 μm to 14 μm, this novel sensing platform can be used to detect CO₂, CO, CH₄, C_nH_m, N₂O, SF₆, CF₄ can be reliably detected up to the ppm range.
