Quickly ready for operation: Electric gripper from the LEHR series enables use with cobots in no time at all
2024-06-10 | SMC Deutschland GmbH
Modern end-of-arm tools (EoAT) make collaborative robots (cobots) an indispensable tool in industry. These include grippers for handling packaging, palletizing or pick-and-place applications. SMC has developed the LEHR series so that the one-armed helpers can show their full strength even faster. The electric gripper, certified for the two cobot manufacturers FANUC and UNIVERSAL ROBOTS, is quickly ready for use thanks to its plug-and-play capability and simple tool change. Thanks to the standard flange, it can also be attached to most robots from other manufacturers. The integrated controller and the battery-free absolute encoder save even more time. In addition to the wide range of applications of the two variants with a high holding force of 60 to 140 N, the energy-efficient motor control helps to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 52% per year. ... Three in one: space-saving PFCA7 series flow controller combines monitoring, visualization and control
2024-06-07 | SMC Deutschland GmbH
Applications such as arc welding or preventing the oxidation of printed circuit boards or foodstuffs rely on comprehensive flow control of different gaseous media. Instead of relying on several individual devices, which leads to complex tubing and wiring, SMC has developed the PFCA7 series. The new flow controller integrates a flow sensor, a control valve and a controller in a single unit, thus reducing space requirements and installation costs. Thanks to a dot-matrix LCD color display that can be rotated in 90° steps, it enables easy monitoring of the flow rate of various gaseous media. Thanks to the choice between IO-Link and analog signals, it also provides comprehensive communication as well as greater flexibility and independence during commissioning and maintenance. ... Space and operating champions: EQFS/Y_H series electric drives with integrated controller offer economical high performance
2023-11-06 | SMC Deutschland GmbH
Electric drives keep industry running across all sectors. The requirements in terms of installation space, performance, ease of use and, last but not least, economy are constantly increasing. With the EQFS/Y_H series, SMC shows how a solution can fulfill all these aspects at the same time: The controller is already integrated in the electric actuators in slide (EQFS_H series) and piston rod design (EQY_H series). The simple control system enables commissioning without programming knowledge. CO2 emissions are reduced with the usual high performance thanks to increased efficiency. ... Read more
