B+B hands over test devices of the "kiro air" CO2 traffic light to VS vocational school

And it is precisely when it comes to regular airing that uncertainty reigns. When, how and for how long must ventilation be provided to ensure the safety of everyone present? Currently, this runs according to gut feeling and possibly a time limit (2 x 45 min each). While these landmarks are better than none, they are too imprecise and unreliable in the current situation.
The measurement technology company B+B Thermo-Technik has taken on the problem and developed a CO2 traffic light. This device called kiro air uses a traffic light system to indicate when the CO2 concentration in the air is too high and the room should be urgently ventilated. Especially in rooms where many people gather and stay for a long time, the kiro air is a good support to regulate the ventilation. The limit values used are coronact recommendations of the Federal Environment Agency.
In order to gain experience in this environment and at the same time support a school in opening up, B+B handed over two kiro air CO2 measuring devices to the Villingen-Schwenningen vocational schools in March.
Teacher Bettina Schrenk, principal Svjetlan Magazinovic and head of department for metal technology Andreas Grauer eagerly accepted the new devices and had Benjamin Kunz (B+B) explain the kiro air to them. Together, the devices were put into operation and already considered how handling should best proceed in everyday school life.
Now it is time to test the devices in everyday use and to gain further insights into the devices as well as their handling and practical suitability from this practical test. So both the school and the manufacturer benefit from the cooperation.
Teacher Bettina Schrenk is particularly looking forward to the test phase with the measuring devices and hopes that this will make things easier for herself and the teaching staff and also provide an additional safety aspect for everyone present in the room.
