IPEmotion: New plugin for ADAM-4000 measurement modules

Advantech's ADAM-4000 series consists of a set of analog and digital I/O modules that can be used for a wide variety of measurement and control tasks. They communicate via the 2-wire RS-485 interface. Computers rarely have an RS-485 interface: that's why there are the ADAM-45xx - communication modules:

ADAM-4520 converts to RS-232C

ADAM-4561 converts to USB

ADAM-4571 converts to Ethernet

Since ADAM-4000 modules can be connected in series, a single ADAM-45xx module is sufficient to theoretically couple up to 255 modules to a single PC interface.

The new ADAM-4000 driver from IPEmotion allows elegant integration of the modules into the data acquisition. The PlugIn allows access to all module settings such as measuring ranges, filters, interfaces, etc., which eliminates the need for additional configuration software.
