OPTIBAR LC 1010: new hydrostatic immersion probe with ceramic membrane

KROHNE introduces the OPTIBAR LC 1010 hydrostatic immersion probe with ceramic diaphragm. Designed for water and wastewater applications, environmental engineering and OEM applications, the probe provides simple and continuous hydrostatic level measurement in groundwater wells, stormwater catch basins/overflow basins or tanks.

OPTIBAR LC 1010 features a rugged 316L stainless steel housing and a highly overload resistant ceramic diaphragm for long life. The flush ceramic diaphragm allows easy and safe cleaning on site. With a diameter of 22 mm / 1" , OPTIBAR LC 1010 is also suitable for small containers. The immersion probe is supplied with preconfigured measuring ranges from 100 mbar / 10 kPa / 1.5 psi to 10 bar / 1 MPa / 150 psi; customized ranges are available on request.

For versatility from water to wastewater applications, OPTIBAR LC 1010 features ATEX and IECEx certification and corrosion-resistant TPE cable that is also approved for potable water. In addition to the electrical lines for the 4...20mA output, an air hose also runs in the TPE cable for differential pressure level measurement in closed vessels. For open vessels, the hose can be closed for absolute pressure measurement. Optionally, OPTIBAR LC 1010 can be equipped with an integrated 3-wire Pt100 temperature sensor, alternatively with HART7 communication for user-friendly configuration.
