PCE Deutschland GmbH launches first "own" gas warning system on the market

PCE Deutschland GmbH, manufacturer and seller of high-quality measurement and control technology, as well as laboratory and weighing technology, based in Meschede, Sauerland, has been steadily expanding its product portfolio since its foundation in 1999. In the field of gas detection and gas warning systems, the main focus has been on reselling market-leading manufacturers such as Crowcon. Now, however, the first own gas warning system PCE-WMM 50 has been launched on the market.
The PCE-WMM 50 is used primarily, but not exclusively, in the waste management, metal, food and chemical industries for the detection of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the range 0 ... 50.000 ppm (5%) (by volume) is used.
The gas warning system consists of a gas measuring computer, which can be installed in the danger area without much effort, as well as a signalling unit, which emits the visual as well as acoustic alarm outside the danger area, and a connecting cable. 2 alarm thresholds (limit values) can be set. The determined values can also be read at any time from a 4-digit digital display that is easy to read even in the dark thanks to 4 LEDs.
The PCE-WMM 50 enables fast countermeasures in case of too high gas concentration. The potential-free changeover contact enables, for example, machines to be stopped or extraction systems to be switched on.
The gas warning system is supplied with operating instructions in German.
