Six new FMCW radar level meters

All new OPTIWAVE devices offer 2-wire 4...20mA HART 7 communication and are available with a wide range of process connections from ¾" . They also feature a large backlit LCD display with 4 control buttons, a Quick Setup Wizard for easy commissioning, and a free PACTware™ DTM with full functionality. A number of approvals are already available for hazardous areas; further approvals, including SIL, are in preparation.

New equipment for liquids: OPTIWAVE 3500, 5400, 7400 and 7500
OPTIWAVE 3500 is an 80 GHz FMCW radar level meter for hygienic applications in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

OPTIWAVE 5400 is a 24 GHz FMCW radar level meter for liquids in simple process applications in the chemical, oil & gas and energy industries. It provides accurate readings in closed tanks or outdoors such as rivers or dams (to feed cooling circuits), even with rapidly changing levels.

OPTIWAVE 7400 is a 24 GHz FMCW radar level meter for liquids in harsh environments such as tanks with agitators containing corrosive media, or non-Ex applications up to +700°C / +1292°F (e.g. liquid salt in solar installations).

OPTIWAVE 7500 is an 80 GHz FMCW radar level meter for the same industries as the OPTIWAVE 7400 and is suitable for conditions up to +150°C / +302°F, 40 barg / 580 psig.

New equipment for solids: OPTIWAVE 6400 and 6500
The OPTIWAVE 6400 is a 24 GHz FMCW radar level meter for solids ranging from granular to coarse bulk in the mining and minerals, chemical, agricultural or power generation industries.

OPTIWAVE 6500 is an 80 GHz FMCW radar level meter for powder and dusty atmospheres for the same industries as OPTIWAVE 6400.
