Code Mercenaries provides components and solutions for connecting sensors and actuators to the USB. I2C and SPI to USB, as well as controllers with analog inputs are available as a chip or modules. For incremental encoders, there is a family of controllers that connects up to six encoders to the USB. In addition, there is a 6-axis acceleration and angular rate sensor, which is available as a module, as a kit and as a waterproof version.
