New regulations in the field of container handling
2015-10-21 02:39:38, BROSA GmbHSafety guidelines have become more stringent in recent years and tolerances for safety systems have become smaller. For this reason, only force sensors with a high degree of accuracy should be used to monitor static and dynamic forces. Together with a higher-level safety system according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1, which collects, evaluates and processes the signal, our force sensors can exhibit Performance Level e or SIL 3.
A sensor is always a solution of mechanical strength and accuracy. Sensors designed for high overloads generate only low load signals. The amplifiers built into the sensors must therefore have low inherent noise and good gain to amplify the signal to the desired output. BROSA has met this challenge by developing sensors that are state of the art in terms of components and performance. These sensors are not only robust in their design; they are also precise and provide the signal as quickly as possible.
